Siphya and Ella’s Story

Syphia and Ella started attending COBT on opening day, May 16, 2007. Both profoundly deaf there was little hope that they would have access to education. They began attending our preschool and then joined our new Special Education Program. They soon began to learn Malawi Sign Language and prepared to go away to Boarding School. Now Siphya attends the Mua School for the Deaf and Ella has written her Primary School Leaving Exams!
